Coalo supports The Shooting Star Children's Hospice
7 October 2020
Coalo re-branded from LFM360 to Coalo in October 2019. This meant we had to collect in the old uniform, we couldn't donate the uniform because it had our branding on and was a security risk. Therefore, we donated it to the Shooting Star Children’s hospice charity who will sell it for rags and use the money for their charity purposes.
Somewhat delayed due to COVID-19 we were finally we able to deliver on Friday 21st August to the Shooting Star Children’s Hospice the LFM360 uniform we collected following the rebranding last year. A total of 450Kg that is going to be processed into rags that will be sold to provide much needed funding for the hospice.
Anne Carey, the Head of Corporate Engagement for the charity commented “450Kg apparently! Thanks for all your support. Very much appreciated and please pass on our thanks to everyone in your team who helped to make this happen.”
The Shooting Stars Hospice is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. They support families across Surrey and London from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care and they reply heavily on donations to keep their charity going.
We are proud to not only been able to support them but to ensure our uniforms were used in whatever way they could be and were not sent to landfill.
Coalo are keen to support our communities and to play our part in reducing our environmental footprint.
